This is an old cemetery. The office is only open from 9 am to noon. You would expect some repair needed on graves. My Great Aunts stone was sinking, we informed the office. They raised the stone flush with the ground again. A little communication goes a long way. They also have Obituary records that go way back. If you need to research families that are buried here, more likely than not have the records.

My Parents are buried at Shaul Cementry, according to my Aunt who lives in Ottumwa the overall condition of the cemetery is really depressing. Most of the graves of my relatives are in disrepair. I plan on visiting this summer and hope to see some improvements. Charles Davis Anaheim, Ca.
